  5. The LLM then processes the data, constructs the summary, invokes send_email.
  6. The user receives the report and summary via email, generated automatically by the AI assistant.

  • You didn’t build separate bespoke connectors from the model to the data warehouse and email system each time: you built them once as MCP-compliant tools.
  • The assistant can act (not just answer) — retrieving data, summarising, sending emails.
